Guiding Principles
ONESTEP is committed to serving its membership and government through:
Member Involvement
We will engage auxiliary/casual users of ONESTEP to become actively connected and committed members and ambassadors. We will develop a strong collaboration based on shared interests, concerns and a desire to effect positive change.
Collaboration
We will explore ways to work together to achieve shared objectives while preserving local identity and autonomy.
Partnership
Based on mutually supportive relationships, we will achieve specific ONESTEP objectives through a select number of strategic partnerships with negotiated structures, roles and responsibilities.
Diversity & Inclusion
We will create an open environment receptive to diverse experiences, perspectives and interests, and inclusive of all. All CBTs will have access to network resources to assist them in realizing their full potential in working for a vibrant, inclusive workforce in Ontario.
Accountability & Stewardship
We will protect and enhance our reputation, and those of our members, for leadership and excellence. We will demonstrate high standards of operational performance and fiduciary responsibility.
Sustainability
We will build our capacity to serve and involve by creating a culture in which Board Members and membership want to give their time, talent and financial support to ONESTEP.
