Extreme Makeover
Extreme Makeover
Are you ramping up to deliver the new Employment Service Model? Perhaps you are redesigning your employment services to create efficiencies and effectiveness. Whatever your situation, whether you have realized it or not, you are in the midst of an EXTREME MAKEOVER!
In recognition of this, ONESTEP has created the EXTREME MAKEOVER - ONESTEP EDITION WORKSHOP SERIES. These series of professional development training sessions, will equip staff with the skills and tools they will need to implement the new Employment Ontario Employment Services Plan, or deliver improved employment services.
ONESTEP has identified 3 capacity areas that would benefit from a renovation of skills and is launching the initial stream of workshops that address these functions:
Aimed at management who are responsible for designing, implementing and supervising employment services under the Employment Ontario ES program, this course equips you with an understanding of the evaluation and impact indicators of Employment Service Performance Management. Topics include the principles of CIPMS, data collection and recording, understanding the identified measures, and performing the necessary mathematical calculations to assess service quality standards. We provide assistance in considering your application of the principles by covering local workforce issues, organizational vision and missions, available resources, and community needs. Working within available budgets, these techniques will allow you to plan services to most effectively and efficiently meet measurement standards.
"Building the Foundations of Strong Job Development" - for Job Developers who will be assisting clients and employers with Job Matching, Placement and Incentives.
Employment Ontario is undergoing a makeover. Those with forward-thinking skills and resources recognize an opportunity to thrive in a climate of change. Building Foundations is aimed at establishing solid communication in the transformed Employment Ontario service delivery model. By the time you complete this workshop, you will have a solid understanding of employer motivations and needs, the ability to make presentations that get results, develop and implement a Job Development Sales Process, and learn about the “full lifecycle” approach that allows you to build and grow sustainable employer relationships. Managers or directors who are designing organization-wide job development systems can employ strategies learned here to ensure they are in step with the new Employment Services model.
"The Essential Tool Box for Client Assessment" - for staff who work directly with clients, assessing their service needs through the career and employment decision making process.
