Financial Vibrancy
In the increasingly uncertain funding environment, financially vibrant organizations are not dependent on any one funder. To attract investment and diversify funding, financially vibrant organizations think and act holistically. They are adaptable to change, effective in all organizational functions and deliver outstanding results in their community.
In 2007, ONESTEP launched the Paths to Financial Vibrancy project - a hub of peer-to-peer learning for Ontario’s community‐based employment and training sector. During Phase 1 of the project, an organizational Compensation Tool PDF was developed to help agency leaders assess their agencies strengths and weakness along nine “paths”. In Phase II of the project, ONESTEP organized training, workshop and professional mentorship opportunities for agency leaders to collectively learn and discuss organizational best practices that would help strengthen their operational practice, improve service excellence and ultimately leading to stronger more vibrant organizations and a more viable not-for-profit community based not-for-profit sector.
